"The Pale Blue Dot" is a tribute to Carl Sagan, created as the final project for the Animation 01 course during my sophomore year in Fall 2017. This collaborative film, produced by the entire Motion Design class of 2020, received a Vimeo Staff Pick in January 2018 and won the Best of Ringling Motion Design Faculty Award in 2018.
“…the delusion that we have some privileged position in the Universe…”. Therefore the universe is shown trough rose-tinted glasses, with the Earth at the centre of everything.
