The Pale Blue Dot

The Pale Blue Dot was made as a tribute to Carl Sagan as the final project for the Animation 01 course of my Sophomore Year. Created during the of Fall 2017, this film was a collaborative effort by the entire Motion Design class of 2020. A list of all contributors, in order of appearance can be viewed here.

For this project I animated the following shot, having to illustrate the quote: “…the delusion that we have some privileged position in the Universe…” . Therefore, the Universe shown through rose-tinted glasses shows the Earth at the centre of everything.
